In the 1990s I made a name for myself making and selling unique one of a kind soft sculpture art dolls. Then I was ready to tackle a new medium to challenge myself as a designer. I became fascinated with mosaic, drawn to its permanence as an art form after the relative ephemeral quality of sculpting and designing in cotton and mixed media.
