Doll Art
During the 1990s, Lawan Angelique received recognition for her art dolls and mixed media figures made from a variety of materials including vintage clothing, folk art fabric, designer knits, silk, and all types of wire, wood, glass, paper, wool, paperclay, papiér maché, acrylics, silk paints, and pastels. Her one-of-a-kind figures were sculpted with cotton, paperclay, papiér maché, or wire, and hand-painted.
